Hi Guys. Next week I'm going to visit New york in a 8 days trip. Fortunatelly I get tickets to watch the Soccer Game between Real Madrid and AC Milan at Yankee Stadium. Question is: do they allow DSrl cameras inside the stadium (EOS 60d and 15-85mm + 430ex ii + Case Logic DCB-308)? I'm worried about the movie capability... Anyone had trouble with this camera or t3i, 7d etc?

Well, I suppose Eos 60d is a movie camera (@#$#)!!! Maybe they cannot distinguish the diference of the 60d and 50d. Too risky... Don't want to miss the opportunity to watch this game.

Has anybody already enter the Yankee Stadium with a 60d?

While I do not have a 60D, I've taken my 5Dii into Yankee Stadium on many occasions.

I think I'll go to the Stadium 2 hours before the game and take the risk. If everything goes wrong, I'll have time to go back to the hotel, leave my camera and return to the game.

They have to prove you are filming with video. If your just taking pics you have nothing to worry about.

Hum... I don't think so. They just need to say "Movie Cameras are not allowed. Get out of here!".

I found at the internet someone saying "If you're not allowed to enter with the camera, just say 'I'm sorry' and try another gate".

How many gates are ther in the Yankee Stadium? All of them give me access for my seats (Section 238)?

I would not worry about bringing the camera. I just used my 7D in there, granted I was working, but still they should give you no problem.

It's not like they are going to come up to you at your seat and give you trouble. Just DO NOT record video while there.

I go all the time.... I bring my 7D ( used to be a 30D) in with a 70-200 f2.8/l.... NEVER a problem... I don't however bring in a flash since you don't even need it... Set the ISO all the way up and open the lens all the way... You will be fine...
