Since images are now clearly being graded on a curve, how much better is my crappy work considering I have had such little free time to shoot since joining the forum in 2005?

this is mostly coming from the Olympic thread and nothing against your pics. I just feel the images should stand on their own regardless of conditions.

keep at it and your images will improve. With photoshop and technology nowadays you can get great pictures with an iPhone camera if you know what you're doing. Its all technique son.
