This is the male Eagle from the nest I follow and his reaction as a juvenile Eagle flew into the nesting area.

Thank you everyone. Kind of mixed emotions editing images from this past nesting season seeing how talks with the city of Norfolk continue regarding the removal of the nests in their territory and deterents put in place to keep the Eagles from rebuilding another nest on this property in the future. :rolleyes:

They feel because the nest area is located so close to Norfolk International Airport that making them move on will eliminate the strike hazard Eagles pose on aircraft landing and taking off from the airport....nevermind the fact the airport is built around a lake which attracts them and other large birds to the area.
