Haven't contributed anything to this inspiring thread for a while. Here's something different to my other stuff...

The setup shot - my friend taking pics of birds of prey at an abandoned area in Manchester (UK not US).

And the result, after 3 bracketed exposures and a bit of processing:

AB800's at about 1/4 power and from the setup image i moved them about 5ft closer to the bike and raised them about 1ft higher.

Yeah that bike is clean, he just got it back a few days before we shot it, brand new paint and all.

It is a Yamaha XS650, more then that I really couldn't tell you, it is my buddies bike he just finished building it. I know he did a battery less charging system, kick start with a tiny capacitor to hold enough charge to run the lights only. Looks cleaner with out the big bulky battery and slue of wires.

Thanks for the info. Tell your buddy "Good Job" it's nice and clean. A look I like a lot. The less you have on a bike the better IMO. You should take it for a ride!

wonder why he didn't use a magneto to run a motorcycle? (just thinking out loud)
