I'm very impressed by the results from the S95 in low light. From the Chiluli exhibit in Seattle

Thanks! I normally wouldn't give a shot this much "punch" but jpeg looked horrible (as I shoot RAW+jpeg), the edited RAW in Aperture was obviuosly bette, but I still didn't like it. After messing around with a lot of preset settings in DxO I arrived at these, etc.

Not knocking the S95/S100 they are really great, especially at their price. I love being able to have a camera I can put in my pocket no matter what I'm wearing. The S95 provided me that. The RX100 is simply a better camera than the 95. I've been shooting my close friends RX100 and love it. He shoots Nikon D3/D4 and has a few different types of cameras, etc. One of his most recent was the S100 to replace his G10. Then he bought the RX100 and did extensive testing between that and the S100. All things equal, various modes, jpeg to jpeg. Naturally the RX100 captured more detail and what it produced on just about every test shot was better looking IQ wise, colors, etc., than the S100. After seeing the shots, shooting the RX100, I decided to buy one. For me, possibly spending less time on RAW's from the RX100 and being able to utilize more jpeg's (less PP time) due to a larger sensor is worth it.

For me it was worth the switch and I was convinced I would never buy another Sony P&S... This is the exception and glad I got one.
