Nicely done Ricardo, well composed and lovely mist you have captured there.

2012 Nike US Open @ Surf City (Huntington Beach, CA)... 5D3 + 200 1.8L combo... AI-Servo AF was great... I didn't hesitate to use the outer AF points, which worked just as well as my 1D3... So far, I'm impressed with this body...

Sweet shot Butch! This is the primary reason I went with this body, to capture fast moving subjects and reliable outer points. I need to get more of my kayaking buddies running the big stuff here, but I can't stay out of the river myself!! :D

Laramie, you have some awesome pictures. Did you use the Canon 17-40 or Zuiko 24?
What aperture did you use? The pictures look perfect!

Thanks,
Sharad

Thanks for the compliments Sharad. All three in the desert set were with the 17-40. Road sign is f11, trees at f16, rocks at f18. Appreciate the kind words.

Not really, per se... If and when I start to struggle with the weight of a 1D-series body, perhaps I'll switch to the 5D-series... Until that point, though, the 1Dx will be my next body upgrade... I need the higher FPS' for the type of sports I'm shooting...

Whew!! You had me scared there for a second, Butch!

I thought us 1 series lovers had lost another faithful member.
