Mountain biking self portrait

My girlfriend, friend, and i went upstate to minnewaska state park for our first real mountain biking expedition. I bought a book about mountain biking trails in eastern ny so we plan to do a lot more. This place was gorgeous, the views were amazing at the summits. we biked about 10 miles in maybe 3 hours. At the end we took a dip where the waterfall was and it was a good way to end the day. This shot was taken only 1/4 way into the trail, and we thought that that was a pretty high view, but we were wrong!

Nice shot. A little suggestion here, not related to photo taking though - it is safer to lock the front wheel quick release lever pointing towards the back to prevent it from catching objects when riding acrossing difficult terrain..

yes, but i didnt want to align the caliper again, so i left it as it until i go out onto a real trail, the trails we were on were wide horse carriage roads
