I wonder if the Ratings you put on the photos would reflect in Lightroom? Hmm.

Anyone seen any update for the WFT-E5 yet? In the upgrade instructions, Canon claims it needs an update too, in order to work properly with cameras that are updated to version 2.

So here's a dumb question. The instructions say to check the file size on the website to confirm. I know why. But my file size doesn't match. The site says the .FIR file should be 17,462,140 bytes. I have 17,053KB which translates to 17,462,272 bytes. I have extra bytes I don't know what to do with!

Can someone else please confirm my byte count is correct on a working install?

Open the properties of the file (right click in Explorer), and check the exact file size there. I see the same thing as you do, but have the right size in the properties window.

Yeah, my title is finally accurate! I don't feel like a liar anymore.

Well, found a flaw in it already. I set the file name to be K7D_ and they all read _7D_. No matter what I make the first letter, it becomes an underscore.

Oh, wait, it gets better. If I try to intentionally put an underscore there, it says that "_" cannot be the first letter. lol
SO I HAVE to use a letter or number and not an underscore but whatever I choose will be changed to an underscore. Wow.

I shot an image in raw and then did an in-camera conversion and saved it. When it started the save operation it displayed a message that it was saving the edited movie file. Is this a hint that 2.0.1 will not be too far off?
