Thanks! I was thinking the exact same thing as I was taking the shot. I've never composed a shot like that before.

I was doing a shot that I'll attach below, and for whatever reason I looked up and there it was haha. :)

if youre talking about the washed out blacks all you have to do is pull the bottom left side of your curves (the shadows and darks) up and right. kinda odd to explain.

I love how the blown-out highlights have recovered themselves in the refection below.
