I was slightly disappointed with this lens tonight..it just didn't seem to deliver the sharpness I wanted. Which sucks, because it's such a fun lens. It might have just been the lighting conditions, I don't know, I just wasn't pleased :(

Bummer, Sorry to hear that. I am sort of unimpressed with this lens on my 5D Mark II but it still kicks butt on my 40D. I guess I have to do some Micro Adjustments AGAIN on the 5D Mark II.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's the camera or the lens...

Picked up my 50mm 1.4 yesterday.

On early shots - it seems like it suffers from a very a blue tint around the edge of objects. I know there's a name but forgot it :lol:

Is this normal on this lens?
