Hi everyone,

Basically my family and I are going to the Caribbean for a couple of weeks.
I don't want to bring my good gear down with me (for a few reason). It's too long of a time period for me to worry about my stuff.

I'd like input on opinions on buying a resale DSLR (Canon) for <$200

I should have kept my XTi when I upgraded

Bringing along 24 2.8 & 55-250

Thanks

To fast to post without reading...! oops.

I recommend not buying one to use and resell. Might as well rent and insure and get the pics you want.

I'd just bring what you have.... otherwise what's the point of owning it?

if you really are concerned, buy extra insurance for it... a lot cheaper than the $200

Enjoy your vacation and spend the 200 on something else on your vacation.
Bring what you have and don't worry about it.

Yeah...I guess. Maybe I should loosen my collar a bit.

Like some said, what's the point of owning it.

Bring a micro fiber cloths cause when you wake up and go outside, the lens will fog up from the cool room to the hot humid air outside.
And be careful changing lenses with so much sand around. Bring a rocket blower to clean it at the end of the day.
