hey guys looking for a small-medium minimalistic bag to carry
my 5d2, 24-70 (mounted) & 580x2 when I need it.

I currently have a domke f-5xb and it worked perfectly
when I prev had a 50mm. The domke still works
for the 5d2 & 24-70, however the flash no longer fits.

Any recommendations would be great.

The billingham Hadley Pro will hold this with the hood reversed :) I would personally highly recommend this bag.

The Crumpler 5 MDH bag should fit the bill for those 3 pieces. That's my minimalist bag for carrying the 5D3 + 24-105 and a 430EX II.

Get the next size Domke. I have the 5XC and that does fit what you need. I like it because it's the 5XB but just taller. I also like the rear pocket on the Domke to put the extra flat stuff I need like programs and gum. :)

I use the Crumpler Muffin Top 7500, carries 5D2 + 24-105, 2 spare batteries, nd filter, manfrotto 709b, pens & pad, black rapid rs-7 system, and nice big cloth, and various bits n bobs ideal walkabout bag, and the crumpler doesnt scream 'expensive camera inside' which is what i like about crumplers.

I like Domke. Had several of them over the past 15 years. Currently have an F3X and it comfortably holds a 5D3 with a mounted 24-105, a 17-40 in the main compartment, a 430EX in a side pocket, cables, filters and other misc stuff in the other side pocket. What I love about Domkes that few others have are the large side pockets. Those things can fit a ton of stuff, but also collapse if not being used, so the bag stays compact if you need it to.

thanks everyone for the recommendations!
- I've narrowed it down to the F-5xC & possibly the Retro 7, however the retro 7 looks a bit larger in size
