I think they look great. My favorite is # 5. I think you could of cropped out whatever that is on pic # 3 on the left. It's pretty distracting. Overall, great job and I think the lighting is really nice.

On #4 you might want to fix the (sores?) two things on her lip. Looks like she didn't use moisturizer and got a bit dehydrated.

Thanks for replying...means a lot. Yeah, I spent quite a bit of time messing around with the crop tool in LR4. I'll go back in and try some of these suggestions, thanks

I'd use the gradient tool in LR or something similar to darken the foreground and diminish the shadow for the flash.
Nice series. Although I'm not a fan of the faded, bad print look you gave the second image.

I like #5 the best... how'd you do it? All in post?

You could do some skin retouching in the pictures especially #4. Also, her bottom lip looks like it has dried blood or something on it. Really should take those out.

#6: Looks like it's supposed to be a silhouette shot... but they're not completely black. May want to darken them to complete black.

#7: nice shot but I would have wanted more ambient light in by slowing shutter a little. Also... are her eyes open??? I can't tell 100% but it looks like it. Doesn't look very romantic with his eyes closed and hers open.

overall nice shots but some work in post should be done. what island are you on in hawaii? I'm on Oahu btw.

I love number 5.

2 and 3: lighting is a little too harsh

Good stuff. Id work on his hand placement because his arm is just hanging by his side on a few.
