I have LR4 installed on both my imac and macbook pro.

I am now selling the imac and getting a macpro desktop.

How do I move my licenses?

I gather I can have 2 copies installed (as long as they are not used simultaneously).

I will uninstall LR4 /CS5 etc before sale from iMac.

Just make sure you deregister PS before uninstalling it.
I don't think LR has the same "lock" with Adobe's servers that Photoshop has.

good luck hania!

is it worth while to uninstall LR then? do you have to do anything before uninstalling it? seems that just uninstalling it, isn't going to alert adobe. I am going to be transitioning from a 13 mbp and imac to a loaded mbp + tb display... and I want to figure all of this out prior. my two computers now, each have my LR serial plugged in. don't think I can have 3 computers using it.

I've been wondering the same thing about switching computers. Currently have a 13" MBP. I want to get a newer/faster MBP and give this one to the wife. Been wondering if I can leave LR4 and CS5 on the old one and also install them on the new one, or that will cause issues...

With a single license? Read yesterday that most adobe licenses allow install on two machines, but can't find verification of that...

See below

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.0 EULA wrote:
2.1.3 Portable or Home Computer Use. Subject to the restrictions set forth in Section 2.1.4, the
primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under Section 2.1 (“Primary User”)
may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer
or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home
Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.

2.1.4 Restrictions on Secondary Use by Volume Licensees. If the Software was obtained under an Adobe
volume license program or agreement (such as Adobe Volume Licensing) by any licensee other than an
educational volume licensee, then the second copy of the Software made under Section 2.1.3 must be
used solely for the benefit and business of that volume licensee.

Je n'avais pas besoin de cette hypothèse-là.
