Awesome, (apart from #6 which is a 'fad' shot with absolutely nothing in focus) great
perspective on these - were 2 & 4 partial tilt shift? works really well !

7 & 8 are without a doubt the 'money shots' here, just superb.

.DAVID.

PS: would be a lot easier if you numbered your shots

R3 box that goes click and some tubes with glass in them on the front.

Numbered for your convenience.

It's true I am a slave to fads... and what clients ask for.

Edit - forget to answer about the tilt. No they are not. Shot with 24-105. The effect you are seeing is the heat haze from the exhaust.

Shot #1 looks like the flame on the far side of the motor is green. Doesn't copper burn green? Did you catch the exact moment when a spark plug went Chernobyl? (Or is that something green behind the flame?)

I actually like the feeling of motion in it, & "Summit" might find it generically useful enough to pay for it. But then, I shoot a lot of motion stuffwhen I'm tired of shooting sharp cars with just wheel blur. Different strokes... ;)

Sweet shots Robert! I miss shooting NHRA! The feeling of those cars blasting past is just unbelievable. Have fun cleaning your gear!! Last time I was out there tiny bits of rubber was falling from the sky...:)

Thanks guys. I think 7 and 8 are my faves from the grouping.

The gear faired pretty well Jamil. Though I did finally lose something after all theses years... Eye cup off of one of my bodies.

Nice shots. I haven't made an NHRA race, usually just IHRA.

On a side note, Courtney and Ashley Force are smokin!

The green flame is usually the copper burning as they are pushing out a head gasket..guessing he didn't make it all the way down track under power on that run

This is the first time I've seen Courtney and she's a cute one. I shot about 40 fan portraits for the track with Courtney, her dad and a lucky fan.
