that's fair haha, and yeah anyhwere at 2.8 or under is fine to use cause you can't obtain the sharpness at that aperture with the colors/depth of field/ etc. with another lens other than the f/1.4 L, I meant more stopping down to f/6.3 or f/8! :)

Had to explore my low range lenses because I don't like using my 18-55 kit, the 35 turned out to be a good focal length on crop for shooting at this corner at the local cycling event.

I found a pretty good deal of this lens for $450. Would you say I order it now or wait for amazon's lightning deal?

Ebay. It was an auction starting at $399. The refurbs start at $449, so I set my max bid there. I would have gotten a refurb if I lost that bid. As far as I'm concerned a refurb is equal (possibly better, as they will test the heck out of it) to a new lens...

Words of the wise right here. Alwayss buy refurb. Especially camera's and lenses. Cheaper and you're absolutely sure the thing works.

Looking forward to your stuff Mookalafalas!

Nothing special, but I never made a railroad track before :P

Hi Micko, long time since you posted some stuff. You should more often! Great work!

My first try at the 'making water look like mist' shot. Didn't have an ND filter and it was really sunny, so not anything too sick.
