Nice email in the inbox this morning. Use coupon code KNV9-U4WYTM-6NFD62 to get $400 off of CS6 for either PC or Mac.

Already tested to see if you could work around to get $400 off of a lens, but no such luck.

My email said:

"Dear Amazon.com Customer,

Customers who have shown an interest in photo- and video-editing software at Amazon.com might like to know about this offer exclusive to Adobe Elements and Lightroom customers:"

So I'm guessing its for people who have purchased one of those two programs from Amazon before.

ah, didn't realize it was a single use code, but makes sense. Hopefully whoever used mine is happy. I'm happy with my CS5 from the great deal from last year

Since you tested your code on a lens purchase, the coupon may still be in your cart. You could try adding Photoshop to see if you get the discount.

I think I have to contact Amazon. I was emailed a code by Amazon today to save $400 and when I tried to enter the code at checkout, it said "the promotional code I entered could not be applied to your purchase." So, Amazon sends me a code for $400 off and when I try to use it, they basically say "just kidding." I am not amused. I will let everyone know how this turns out.

As an update, the code works, but it can only be used if sold directly by Amazon. Amazon is currently out of stock, but I was able to place an order for it with the coupon code and it will be shipped when back in stock in 1-4 weeks. I will gladly wait 1-4 weeks to get the savings.

I just attempted to purchase as sold directly by amazon and it said it was not valid. It did estimate shipping to be in sept though.

I am not sure why you had an issue, since the code I was sent worked. According to customer service, the codes are valid for one use only.
