The color fills in that saddle very nicely along with the few trees. Luckily the ships are pretty big in the harbor.
Now you have to get the sunset delight.

I prefer Pachelbels lesser known work, Canon in L and the 99 cent menu club.

Patrick your excellant surf photos inspired me to go down to Cottons and Upper Trestles this morning. I was a little disappointed as the surf forcast was for shoulder to overhead waves. I guess the surf report guys are the same as the weather guys. I did a little different take than you, and old dude longboarding and a women surfing.

^^ Awesome shots here....I was at the Wedge this morning as it was forecast to have 10-12 footers but only few rolled in. Most are in the 6-8 ft to the delight of the body boarders and photogs as well. I've been shooting the Wedge for a few years now and like last year when 20-25 ft comes rushin' in, Oy Vey what a fun shootout.

The US HURLEY PRO is coming up @ Lowers. Last year I missed this event as I was out of the country on a business trip. This is a fun event to shoot and I'm sure you're aware about it. Hope we can do a meet up and I'll introduce you to my group of surf photographers.

Anyways, here's the thread from this mornin' swell.

Shot with 1DsMKII + 70-200 F2.8L + 1.4xII. Hope y'all like it...

Enjoy the weekend everybody & have a good shoot.

Wow Patrick I should have gone to the Wedge. It is on my calendar to go to Trestles but I thought it was called the ASP World Tour. I may be wrong but that is how I have it listed on my calendar. Not sure if I will be there for the finals on Sat. I have plans to go to San Diego for the Speed Festival. I will be there during the week sometime maybe I will see ya.

Just picked up this lens late last week, haven't had much time to play around with it. Had it on loan from CPS earlier this year and liked it, but just getting around to purchasing now.

Anyway...
