Over the weekend was WTAC held at Sydney Motorsport Park (aka Eastern Creek Raceway). I was only able to attend the Friday day sessions so I did miss a little bit, with the Friday night drift qualifiers and the whole of Saturday. Apart from the cold temps mixed with gale force winds it was an awesome event. The only shame was that i didnt get to see the reigning champion "Cyber evo" put down a lap due to mechanical issues. Here are some of my pics....

The eventual winner with a crazy time of 1:25.02, nearly 4 seconds faster than last years winning time and some 6 seconds faster than a V8 supercar, all on semi-slicks

During the lunch break there was a "Legends from the turbo Era" I was so excited to see this roar down the main straight in full noise. One of the Legends in Aus motorsport and the main reason why turbos were banned from the ATCC, ultimately creating the Holden vs Ford V8 supercars. So quick going into the first corner.

As I was only there for the Friday I missed the show n shine on the Saturday so I could only see the cars from the trade stands. Quite an interesting build this is, one to look out for in the near future.
All in all it was a great day, minus the weather but I will definatly be back near year for sure.
Thanks for looking guys
P.S. also if anyone else attended you're more than welcome to add to this thread.
