question: is the $400 off the regular price of $699
or off the advertised price of $586?

I don't think it works for that 3rd party deal. You have to pick from PS CS6 being by Amazon directly and now that one only shows up at $650 with 1month shipping delay.

I'm not sure why it is so confusing to some, it's a $400 dicount code. Whatever the Amazon price is less the $400 code, so if it is $586 your cost is $186.

Amazon's price is $650.88 at the moment, so you're looking at $250.88 with coupon.

It was $586 when I purchased it on Saturday night, so with the discount, I got it for $186. It was a no-brainer deal and when I told my wife about the price decrease, she said to get it :-) The coupon only works if you purchase it directly from Amazon. I checked with Amazon customer service before I placed the order. I think the coupon would also work on the digital download version from Amazon, but I wanted the shrink-wrapped version.

That's what it was when I got the code. After getting CS5 not long ago (with the same $400 off) I just didn't see the need for it. 98% of my editing is done in LR, I only use PS once in a while,

If anyone else gets a code that they won't use, I would greatly appreciate it. :)
