He is a Nikon user... no good!!! Do wish I had his camera instead of my 450d and 70-300!!!!

Taken in New Zealand, anyone else from good old NZ???

Sadly he is NOT one of those in Orange and is more likely to cause an Accident than help out if there is one.

I should dig through my photos, Marshaling here is all voluntary, even the high level events like the WRC.

Yeah I have a few lying about too of marshals, they do a great job considering. Some come quite a way just to be part of an event.

This rallycross car rolled several times - the marshal on right was already running towards the car with a fire extinguisher before it came to a stop.

I doubt it, considering the Blow up Doll in Marshal's overalls is a hell of a lot closer to the intended subject of this thread than a Photographer in an Orange Hi Vis.

That top pic of the "resting oaf" is certainly not a marshal, as a marshal in South Africa I know what us marshals put up with , but to post that as a marshal is an insult to marshals all over the world. Put down your camera and go do the training and walk in a marshals shoes for a while


60D, 70-300L is,100-400mm, 50mm 1.4, 15-85mm,18-55mm, 55-250mm,18-55Mkii, 28-135is 100mm 2.8 macro,macro ring light.SLIK pro700dx tripod,SLIK pro pod 600 monopod,SLIK AF1100E ball head and Kenco 1.4 teleconverter and boat loads of inexperience.
