didn't share this earlier as a photo because my laptops internet connection is not working lately. wifi or wired, and having to transfer all my photos to upload is becoming annoying...
anyhow,

This is a frame from the timelapse I shot recently, if you go to it on flickr you can see the link posted in the description - as well as a lot of shots I got with the 60D there I was borrowing.

I disagree, the sky on the last two seems to be clear compared to #1, I think this blends really well,( on my screen anyway)......

Interesting, I'm seeing a halo on #1 on three different monitors.

To be clear, it's a great photo like the others, including the processing. This halo is not distracting, but I think it's about 1 notch away from it.

I watched that this morning... very nice

I was on the road for business and I made my co-worker pull over so I could get this shot. I felt bad about interrupting the trip so I rushed the photo... I REALLY wish I had spent 1 minute and set everything up correctly.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the positive feedback.

About the haloing - I checked the original RAW files and for #1 it is there as well, maybe due to light reflection? Also he just happens to be framed by light clouds which could also contribute to that effect. I am really not sure though and defer to more experienced eyes.

There is some in the other 2 as well - same causes I would say.

Sun was high and to his left, lots of bright cloud and some dark clouds as well.

Interesting. Maybe just backlight fringing then? Congrats on the shots.

Random shots

This is heavily cropped with a lot of noise due to 1600 ISO to get the shutter to set at 1/2000. Not the best in IQ but the action I like alot.
