Sophia is half Middle Easter and her mom just loved the use of the scarf. I think it turned out pretty darn good.

C&C always welcome. I've had some friends tell me the left side is a bit hot, but I like baby portraits slightly over exposed. I may change it if you guys agree with the critique.

Thank you, Jeremy. She was a tough shoot. It was very hard to get a smile. I should make a rule that says "No teething children". :)

Fortunately, I got a few keepers. She was a friends child, so I am happy I got at least that.

Great shot, I don't think its too hot on the left side at all. However cropping off the elbows is the only thing i would say is awkward. I understand its hard to nail the shot with a moving kid. Her face seems like you softened in PP but didn't do it to her arms. Personally I really like it.

Thanks for the critique. I didn't do any skin softening - face or arms. The only post I did was lighten a scar on he forehead by the hair line, and dodge, burn, and sharpen the eyes.

I would have also liked the elbow in, but I didn't get them in the shot.
