I was waiting for some battery carriers and a white balance card (finally!). Got here yesterday. The day I needed it. But when I was out of town. LOL.

couldn't help it... but some people are just plain rude... don't know what gives them the right to do so...

sorry for that.. but that was a little harsh don't you think... and btw, it's not a rumor, it's really posted in sigma and canon website...

I apologize, that may have been a little harsh, but one perrson did it and next thing you know, there's a page of people "waiting" on things you can't order yet or things that don't exist. BTW... It wasn't directed just to you...

BTW: Would anyone really hold off buying a nifty-250 because there's a version II coming? It's a cheap lens, that is proven to be very good for the price. That's like saying your going to hold out for a 50/1.8III.

BTW: Anyone remember all the issues with the 1D3 when it first came out? Personally, I'd rather stick with "tried and true" than be the guinea pig who spends thousands of dollars to find out about major issues that may be cleared up sometime in the future.

On topic... I'm still waiting for my 17-50/2.8VC to show up from Canada... CanadaPost is SLOW! It took 10 business days to get to the US border.

Time to wake up this sleeping puppy.

I was waiting for a touch screen and a mirror-less and now Canon has both. I was waiting for IS on the 17-40/4L, but since I gave my FF to our son, I'm waiting no longer.

My newest "wait for" is a sensor in which the sensitivity of any section can be varied up to 4 stops. One use of this would be as an in-camera gradient neutral density filter. With live view, you could see how a sunset would look!

Too much stuff, not enough shooting time.

Canon T4i (2 lenses), Fuji X100s, Olympus OM-D EM-1 (3 lenses)

Waiting on some good deals to come up on craigs, I've been waiting for a very long time.

Can't understand why people ask more for used equipment than you can buy it new with a warranty.

Keep looking. Last month I saw an ad on CL for a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 OS HSM for $750. I scheduled a meeting to look at it, fully expecting a lesser version. The gentleman showed up with THAT lens for that price. He had just upgraded to an EF 70-200 (II). The filter was a mess but the lens was immaculate. I've shot it 9 ways to Sunday and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Also on CL, I got a bag full of stuff for $40. I got a pristine 28 2.8 out of it, and sold the other stuff for $90. I agree with you, though. Most people want way too much for what they are offering.

Edit: I am waiting until I retire, 3/2013, to get a 5D3.
