Morning guys, it's been a while.

Too much to catch up on so a general Happy Birthday! to anybody who's had one since i last posted, and grats Lee on the tiddler.

Anybody have any interest in tanks and the likes?

I too by brother and his kids to Bovington Tank Museum yesterday, great day out and not too overpriced either!

http://www.flickr.com …6/sets/72157631204810502/ (external link)

Shots from the day, i'll be the first to say that technically the shots are nothing special, nothing more than snaps tbh, but good enough to get an idea of what's what.
As good as Bovington is, it suffers from the usual too many displays in too small a space syndrom making it difficult to get any good positions and angles.

Morning chaps,
It's been a while for me too on the forums. I've been in Belfast for the last week on a manufacture, and Switzerland before that so no time with the camera for a while now :(
In other news, I've submitted my notice last week and will be moving to Basel, Switzerland from the 1st October. Lots to do before then so I doubt I'll have much camera time but after October, be prepared for lots of snowy Alps photos!
Great shots the last week or so (having scrolled back). Love the gullwing shots JD. Must have been amazing to drive, though I doubt I'd fit in it :)

Very cool! You're heading out there for work I take it? Hopefully you'll post all the lovely scenery here when you get the chance (to make us all jealous of course)

Didn't see a macro/closeup subject for the 52 project.
Or plants, bridges, junk.

Thanks chaps. I took the interview for a bit of practice since the site future in Sandwich was uncertain, and got made an offer I couldn't refuse. Will be senior process engineer at Novartis pharmaceuticals so we'll see where that takes me. Cue German and skiing lessons for the next 18 months. On the plus side, we'll be renting out there so instead of spending every weekend doing DIY, I'll be able to go out photographing again. Can't wait!

As for the Merc, I'll have to convince the wife that selling our house is the preferred option instead of renting it out :)
