It is not everyday that we see a picture like this, but when we do, it makes that day. We can see the art, the craft and aesthetics working together in this master piece.

A very interesting story Sharad. It is disappointing and frustrating that here in the US our natural ecology has been severely damaged due to the importing (either accidental or intentional) of plants and creatures. Great plants like the ash tree and numerous evergreens are being systematically wiped out by asian beetles. And I've wondered if ecologies in other regions of the world have been savaged by imports from North America. Now I know. Globalization has its environmental downsides.

Yes David, I do realize that. Every time I visit the USA, I see value in all the checking the US agricultural department, and their excellently trained dogs, are putting us through on arrival at the airports. Unfortunately, in India we just get people to fill up a disclaimer form.

Thanks:) Actually, the look of poverty is misleading. It is a huge food market, but it is only in the morning. In the afternoon it looks like a big mess when everything is being cleaned out.

A picture tells a thousand lies... :-)

This seem out of focus, its focus on the hair, but good composition.

I'll throw out a Wow to Gweebs shot as well! Also have noticed a bit different processing in Daniel's stuff in a few shots/threads, I like it! And Monday steppin' out of your zone a little I see, nice stuff. What kind of event was this? Interesting outfits.

This is really terrific Daniel! Do you have an "Ugly People Not Welcome" sign on your business or something? Just kidding. But seriously, you really do make your clients look like movie stars. :D

Yeah, that is brutal. I actually have some pictures of him I posted last year that really show what a horrible slog he suffers every day. I was actually shooting a building with a 14mm when I saw him coming, and sort of lingered as he trudged through the frame. Pretty grim: http://www.flickr.com …045101855/in/photostream/ (external link)

AND, holy crap, Max, Daniel, Gweebs...this thread is starting to look pro. Maybe we need to start another "5D3 for just regular folks" thread--a kind of second tier for those of us with humbler talents:o

That's the same guy? Wow, I absolutely remember your terrific shot of him with your 14mm; I've been a fan of your work ever since!
