First of all.... Wow! You did an unbelievable job with everything in this process. Sorry for the late reply. I actually have been planning on sending you a hand-written letter stating all of what I want to say, but time is so tight right now with my departure approaching for China next week. I'll be there a year; many preparations to consider. Needless to say, I overly appreciated that handwritten letter touch you provided.

The packing job was over the top; I couldn't appreciate what you did there any more than I already do. Well done. Truly. Thank you.

As far as the prize... I about died. I've never seen that before, so you can be sure had I seen it, I would have owned it. Leave it to Canon - such a well-made little novelty keepsake. It even has a rubber gasket seal... unbelievable. However, it went as fast as it came. About 20 minutes after I opened the box, my best friend, whom I see maybe twice a year, walked in the door as a surprise from California before my departure. He actually owns the 600mm, and as it was still in my hand, I gave it to him immediately after our initial embrace. No one could appreciate something like that more than him. Although I definitely wanted it, I felt much more satisfied placing it in his hands. Unexpected gifts continued. Thank you very much, Mark. Again, well done, brother.

This has been 100% better than my prior 24-105 purchase just before you. I had to send it back to the owner and acquire a refund - hell of an ordeal.

I will be sure to leave feedback ASAP, just as soon as I figure out how. You'll have my highest regards.
