Beautiful pics.

Live between San Antonio, Texas and Thailand. I spend about 9 months a year in Thailand and 3 in Texas.

Great shots. Can you confirm that these were taken with the 400 F5.6L? Handheld or tripod?
I am considering buying this lens and I am amazed by the quality of your pics.

Thanks David and yes theses were all with 400 5.6L. These shots
I used a tripod with ballhead to allow free movement. The 400 5.6L is a great bang for the buck lens its sharp wide open focuses very fast and tracks in ai servo very well. It also very easy to shoot handheld just find the shutter speed that works to deliver sharp images for you. If Im walking for long distances or going to be out shooting for awhile I use a black rapid strap attached to the lens. I have a grip on the 7D so i have the lens mount backwards and it balances very well!
