I just finished and delivered my last lot of wedding photos yesterday too.

Now I have some time free to finally learn my script for the upcoming play (NO dresses involved in this one) which I really ought to have learned ages ago!

This is the chair, after a quick clean up, for my up coming project what I want to know is do I,
a, leave it as it is
b,rub down and touch up the legs to get rid of the rust
c, get rid of the rusty on the legs and give the rest of it a rub down and quick coat of varnish?
All shots will be in B+W if that makes any difference.

I'd go for the complete overhaul, no one wants to sit on a grubby chair, and even in monochrome a smart chair will be best!

how about an armchair

It's not dirty anymore Lee just looking sorry for it's self I am erring toward a full overhaul just didn't want to make work for myself

Looking forward to seeing how your chair project progresses Dom, plenty of scope for different ideas around it.

I had my 40th birthday a few weeks back and swmbo bought me a Nexus 7 tablet which is an amazing bit of kit for the price.

I bought an app called DSLR controller (think it has been mentioned on here before) and have to say ot works flawlessly with my 7d. Still playing with it but you can pretty much controll the whole camera with it. 2 things I think I will use most are the timelapse mode and also the ability to take hdr with more than 3 shots and with adjustable steps. Thanks Steve, I'm suprised how many people are keen to come on board with it the real test will be how many people buy the finished product.

That app for your Nexus looks good a lot easier than using the Canon Utility software with a laptop.

I too by brother and his kids to Bovington Tank Museum yesterday, great day out and not too overpriced either!

Shots from the day, i'll be the first to say that technically the shots are nothing special, nothing more than snaps tbh, but good enough to get an idea of what's what.
As good as Bovington is, it suffers from the usual too many displays in too small a space syndrom making it difficult to get any good positions and angles.

Some nice pictures, I last went there aged about 12 so about time I revisited it.

Morning all. Shooting a wedding today but had my bank holiday right royally stuffed with a last minute trip to Mumbai leaving Sunday. Not a happy bunny
