So if I was interested in a camera body, lens and flash, 1 trade-in Canon camera would be eligible for the CLP discount? Or is it 1 trade-in camera per item? Sorry if this was asked/discussed already.

One trade in will get you a refurbished DSLR body at 20% off the Canon Direct Refurbished Prices (see first post for list of available bodies and price points).

At the time you order the DSLR, you can also order a refurbished lens and/or a refurbished flash (see first post for list of available lenses and flashes and price points). Lenses and Flashes are not available for discount unless ordered in conjunction with a DSLR through the CLP.

If you order a lens and/or a flash, your order will be upgraded to 2nd business day shipping. Sales tax for your individual state will be added to the total of whatever you order

Hope this helps - good luck!

Hmm... My order of a body and a lens shipped via ground. Wonder if it's something you need to specifically ask for, or if they've changed their policy, or maybe I just got a forgetful rep.

Could be all of the above - you're not the first to report that it was not offered or that the customer service rep needed to be reminded.

I haven't heard anyone report that it was denied for combination orders, so it should still be part of the program.

**EMERGENCY INFORMATION**

Canon just gave me 15% off the normal 20% discount. I just bought a 60D body and 24-105mm lens for only $1170 total (pre-tax)!

Details from Canon's website: Offer valid August 24, 2012 12:01 am ET through August 27, 2012 11:59 pm ET

Nope. CLP is normally 20% off if you buy a body/lens combo, but this weekend they are dropping 15% on top of the normal discount. It's madness!

Nope. The 15% you mention is NOT combined with the 20% from the CLP.

You are *incredibly* lucky if this is true.

To be perfectly honest, I'm having a hard time believing it.

Same, I'd be interested to see if anyone has had the same success.

I just tried to order the same set (60D and 24-105) and was unable to replicate. He would only give me the 20% without the 15% sale price. I think I will try again later to see if I can get a different rep.

Just don't mention me to the rep – I'd hate to have them revise my package. :)
