My first Green Blue Herons

OOPS! I'm so used to writing Great Blue Herons that I named them wrong in the title of the thread. I meant Green Herons.


I was delightfully surprised when upon visiting the pond at the lake boat launch to find these two Green Herons. I've been there innumerable times and never seen one before. The morning light was getting bright potentially jeopardizing good exposures, so I'm grateful to have gotten these.
