Aug 23, 2012 19:34 | #1 I wonder if I'm technically a fanboy because it is as of today that I have changed from Canon and I'm actually sad! lol,I know I owe Canon no allegiance but I did love my S100 and my previous IXUS 220 but after 2 lens errors,a damaged sensor and having to re send my camera in to Canon to be repaired twice after they damaged my lcd and flash,I'm done.Picked up my new camera today but really sad to not be a Canon user anymore.

Aug 24, 2012 02:19 | #3 Moved to Olympus,got the OMD EM5 12-50mm bundle with the M.Zuiko 45mm f1.8 lens,originally wanted a 650D or 7D to go with my S100 but when it died,decided to get the Olympus instead.

That doesn't make any sense,reliability is not determined by what type of camera you buy and me choosing a different brand really shouldn't annoy you like it has.I had problems with Canon,I chose a different brand,I did not post a thread bashing Canon in any way.

I was merely pointing out the lunacy of your aversion to a high end DSLR made by a leader in that category simply because of issues you had with a product from a completely different category in which Canon is not nearly as strong of a competitor.
