Yellow Warbler Series

First time taking these warblers... Do these birds EVER sit still for just one sec? Sooner than I focus, they're onto another branch... Finding and shooting them inside a heavy thicket was difficult enough...

Did you have to set a high shutter speed to get these wonderful pictures? I have a hard time not getting a blurry mess on these little birds most of the time. Twitchy little rascals!!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Scrumhalf - Thanks. My setting was ISO 200, f/5.6, 400mm, and 1/250sec. I had some blurry shots that I ended up deleting. I could have gone to higher ISO, but I'd much rather avoid dealing with noise afterwards.
