Oh that it is, I really want to go there and shoot something but spending the $900 for studio exchange for a personal project(the BMW) was enough for me for one shot. I got some cars now finally after asking around. We should go out and shoot one day my friend.

Oh I can believe it. Studio Exchange is just fun and I will be renting out again for another personal project. Maybe one day I can get South Bay but I got a new 350z that I need to shoot. Lets come up with an idea sir.

When i first moved in:

Now:

Course now that i have it the way i like it, I'll be moving in the next year. The space served me well, but i simply don't need a space like this.

I feel the same way about Chicagoland. I don't have a business need for it at this point though, so I just keep wishing I had space to do something similar at home.

Maybe in a few years when I stop renting and buy again...

I shoot at Westlight Studios Franklin, TN. We moved the studio from Nashville to Franklin a few months back. Our new location is amazing. We have 5,600 sqft. We have two studio spaces one is 22x45 and the other is 34x34 and has a 12x12ft west facing window.

Here is my small humble setup in my basement, works fantastic I must say.

Have the bright white seamless roll along with the grey as shown and 2x Elinchrom BX500Ri strobes and the Manfrotto background stand setup.

That's not as small and humble as mine...
I just got the black velvet backdrop and have only started experimenting with light placement, also have a backdrop that I painted myself. Have done a few family portraits for my extended family, they are happy enough...
