awesome. how long do you have to expose to get all those stars / milky way galaxy??

you have to be in a very very very very dark area away from any city or lights... then you set you ISO to 1600-6400 and shutter speed 20-30 sec depending on lens length and f/2.8

what a good video editing program that we can use to edit and enhance color/exposure, etc for videos we shoot with our DSLRs?

I had a program called Movie Edit Pro I think that was great, but doesn't support files from my camera. The wife has iMovie which is just okay-I'm looking for something that's better and more powerful.

I've always used Windows Movie maker to edit my videos.. :P

Probably the wrong colorspace and no embedded profile. Convert to sRGB for web. No need to "proof" in PS.
Have a read: http://www.getcolormanaged.com/color-management/saveforweb/ (external link)

Thanks for this.

another attempt.
something is not right... to me at least... what would you change?

Perhaps tone down the highlights on the kids a little to get some detail back on the clothing? Your most recent one looks great.

My most recent:

I was modest on the split tones because I struggled with it looking washed out. Mostly done in LR, just did the borders and vignette in PS because I haven't figured it out in LR yet.
