Hold on tight my friend, you are about to be blown away again I suspect! ;) I've said it a thousand times, the AF is the reason I went with the 5D3 and it is just fantastic!

I just did a mini-session with my dog, a great model and perfect test case for a typical shoot with a client.

Holy. ****. LOL. The AF on this camera opens up so many creative possibilities for me, and makes the standard photos so quick and painless it's not even funny.

Just...wow.

QUOTED IMAGE

Great shot. love the colors and the blur from the exhaust. Nice catch.

The 5DIII has met its match. This was AI Servo, whichever case is for sudden acceleration. Time between photos: less than one second. Lol. :-D

Thank you :) I bought it new in 2003 and did most modifications by myself and with some help from my buddies. 17-40L

Just got the 85 1.2L II delivered tonight. Can't wait to shoot real photos with it.

Not a very good example, but it's a quick test shot at 1600 ISO hand held in dim lighting.

Right on! Thanks man. :-) Badass jeep, by the way. Reminds me of a buddy from high school who had a red lifted jeep.

Here's one more of my dog...in focus this time!

Who here has moved from the 7D to the 5D3? Curious to hear about the experience, and dare I ask, was it worth it and why? I ask hesitantly because most people are reluctant to admit faults/shortcomings or even slight disappointment after dropping $3,000+ on a piece of gear.

I have the 5d3 the 5d2 and a 7d.

This camera is stunning in every way.

I totally trust this camera and never feel like I am working against it.

Love the Jeep Adam! You need to find a nice background with no distractions to do some car photos with that, it deserves it!
