Indeed. I was about to ask if this was a bokeh panorama. The DOF seems extremely shallow for the FOV. Whether it is or it isn't, Its a great photo.

Spot on ride!

35 frames at 1.4 does that. If it had been done with a ff, 8-10 frames would have done it, i guess.

Thanks!

Hey guys. I just bought this lens a few days ago from my Buddy M_Six!
Awesome guy! Anyways took this out with me today around the evening time my cousin who flew down from Minnesota is a gonna be a Senior in High School!! So i decided to give her a quick photo shoot for some Senior Portraits. Loved the way this performs on my 5D2. All these shots were taken with at f/1.4 (I'm weird like that) Surprisingly it was sharp!

Thank You!

Looks great!! I'm in love the forest shot. How did you get that "tilt shift" effect?

well thats from the thin dof that the 1.4 offers. i used perspective angles to get this shot. :)
ps: and its on a crop sensor, i guess the dof would be much greater, thus the effect more powerfull on a full frame.

thanks! It was a bad shoot in my opinion, nothing seemed to be right, so i decided to overdo some of the shots in pp, hence the weird colours and the added flares. :)

i wish it was just a few steps but thats not the case. i take the photos and edit them one at a time.

but this is what i do to all my shots:
1. shadow an highlights
2. selective color
3. curves
4. exposure
5. color balance
6. retouch the eyes, face, spots, masking, cloning etc
7. sharpening
8. resize, add frame and sig

if i wanna go crazy, i add flares, different lighting, a lot of dodge and burn, painting with 5% opacity with different colours, vigneting, etc

check out the blog and my fb page in my sig for more photos! :)
