Has anyone used the Reikan FoCal software with the D800? I'm having a tough time getting my lenses calibrated. If anyone has any lens calibration methods they would recommend I'm up for suggestions.

why?AFAIK only D lenses are affected by it... you still use some D lenses?

yes the D700 is still perfect for me too:lol:

I own a lot of macros without AF motors. Since I do a lot of work in a copystand I don't need the latest macros with VR/OS/etc. The 105mm micro is near perfection when it comes to macro work.

I am planning to get one when I get my D800 back from Melville Service Center. They are fixing my unit for the second time for the Leftfocusis Disease.:o

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. I think I'm going to get one too, but I'm waiting for their answer to my email. The site says that a Mac version is coming Q3 of 2012. I don't want to get the PC version and then the Mac version come out soon after. I also don't want to be waiting forever for something that may not come anytime soon.

I'll get my unit back probably after ten working days, as soon as everything is good when I test it, I will try this ReiKan Focal Software.

I may add another as the Sigma 180mm OS starts circulating. I hope the price of those go the way of the 150mm, lately the 150mm has been dirt cheap.
