I'm just gonna rely on either my 50 or 85 lens to take event portraits, depending on venue. I don't wanna get the 24-105 because it's too slow. I don't wanna get the 24-70 because version II is looming, and I wanna wait on that to come out and garner a few reviews before I take the plunge on that (probably early part of next year). <insert gear here>
