It's almost spooky but I always shoot at 16.5 meters distance when I frame full body portraits :D Just checked and it is again 16.5, see my photos and full body will be 16 or 16.5 meters hehehe :p

I am so close to pulling the trigger on one of these guys. But the 70-200 f/4 IS is also very enticing....arg!

I have both, and I never use the zoom for anything portrait related. The 70-200 is more versatile, but the 135L is just so sharp and the bokeh so creamy.

Wow! Yeah I have to stand more than 15 feet to get a good full body portrait but I love how the 135 renders colors and the isolating the subjects.
