I don't know if this pictures are good enough to be posted here
but i just wanna try and please feel free to criticize me
Taken with my old and trusty canon 500 D
BTW... Mapendes is a traditional teeth cutting (symbolic) ceremony which every Balinese youngster must do.

it'd be much better if you have a picture of the ACTUAL ceremony process..



18-55IS, 28-105USM, 50 f/1.8, 60 f/2.8,
finally 70-200L f/4!!:cool:

Ehm I have them, but they are not this good, hahaha... i must bang a few heads with my elbow to get the ceremony picture, and they start to give me the evil look

Interesting!!!! they just chip a part of her tooth or something? hmmm? or do they cut out a tooth and keep it for keepsake? gonna have to google this!

Mapedes is a traditional Balinese coming of age ceremony, where every Balinese do, they just grind the teeth a little with a symbolic strike and symbolic grind filing with a small file

But wow, they treat the participant like a queen and king for the whole week
