Didn't use the S95 much while in Glacier National Park recently but was able to capture a few nice images with it.

jammed as in the button broke? or something is jamming the button like debris? if youre not going to repair the camera and plan on buying another one, you can always be adventurous and attempt to clean or repair the button yourself. no lost now if youre planning on buying another one. i did the same with my DSLR, took it apart cleaned the button cuz something sticky was under it causing the button to stick.

I take good care of my camera . For some reason that evening, I realised that the very moment it ON the camera, immediately there is a focus lock and all other functions / buttons are inactive.

Seriously, I need the S95 back. I have an U/W housing to got with it and we are heading to Bali in Oct. Better it jammed now than during the trip. Canon says they have no parts at this moment. I am anxious. Yes, am consider buying a pre-owned S95 as a backup.

well up to you. just weigh the cost of the repair vs a preowned one.

Lovely model, and great light Chairman. I was surprised that the first one was taken at such a wide angle.

Great shots!
:)
