I have incredible respect for those of you who can master the subject lens. It is an incredible piece of kit, but you do have to know what your doing and I am glad I rented it before I purchased it. I really need to get much better before purchasing the lens. Really touchy on the focus as you move back and forth with the lens as there isn't a focus ring. Would be much more effective if you had some mini rails on a tripod. Excellent lens, but not for the amateur - which is me.

Here are a couple of lack luster shots from this morning - must admit it was great fun.....ants really move fast when you have them in such close focus.
