Great Shot BTW -Awesome I took a 180 second exposure to show the movement of the clouds over this period of time which really gives the image a surreal feeling. It's a new technique I've been practicing and I've been having a lot of fun with it. There are several ways to do it and most will buy a nice ND filter and set the camera to bulb mode and hold the shutter open. I've been using another technique which I take multiple 30 second exposures while locking down my remote on continuous shooting mode and then you just lay the images on top of one another in photoshop for the same effect. There's a mathematical formula for stacking the images properly, but as long as you don't have 100 images, it only takes a minute. The advantage is you don't have to buy an expensive ND filter(the one I want is on backorder), and it also keeps the digital noise down in the image at the same time Facebook-- http://www.facebook.com/AndrewShoemakerPhotography

Basically, you just stack the images as layers in photoshop and then you vary the opacity depending on the number of layers. You take 1 divided by the number of the layer you're including.....so if you have 5 layers for example, starting at the layer on the bottom and then working up it would go.......
