Excellent...I really like the 1st one....The 2nd one is kind of funny...did the flower support it's weight or did it fold?

The petal sagged onto the leaf below. The hummer never fully perched.

They are both terrific captures, I like the second one best. The wing spread and the detail to the wings is great.

Did you use a flash to stop the wings? I was told that was the only way to stop the movement for the photo...look forward to hearing if you did.

What lens?

These are very nice catches. I love the hummers up here they are getting ready to head south. I have been trying to get pictures all summer got a couple last week I will have to post.

No flash. The hummer was semi perched so it's wing speed was slower than normal. Lens is a 70-300L.
