The 135L is great for headshots on crop or full-frame. Head and shoulders on full-frame.

On a crop an 85 might be a more versatile option, the problem is which 85? I like my 85 1.8 canon, but it gets ignored in favor of the 135L often. It has some CA in extreme contrast situations, but I rarely see that in portrait work. The 85L is great, but its expensive, and not the fastest focusing. The sigma 85 is said to be good, but I havent had a chance to test it for myself.

Thanks. I'll have to make a decision between this and the 70-200 2.8 non IS...
