OK, becuase of the good weather we've been having in South West England recently, I have been out grabbing as many post-sunset clifftop shots as possible. Last night became slightly interesting as I began to realise I needed a bit of light to climb back up (some small parts were actual climbing, not scrambling).
Anyway, I began to think how easy it would be to make a mistake and bam, thats it, you're gone. And then I wondered that there must be a fair number of idiots like me who try and get to the most inaccessible places for that "special" shot so the number of deaths due to this activity must be slightly higher than the average. Does anyone know if there are any stats like that - i.e. percentage of clifftop/mountain falls or deaths related to photography and not specifically climbing, etc?
A bit down beat I know but sometimes thats just how I think.
