A hardware store quality grade 5 bolt on the cam? Really? At least get a hardened bolt for that! Is it an AMC?

I'm not familiar with it, but someone surely will be. The offset of the shaft/gear is really peculiar.

The off set is probably there to run a fuel pump and the distributor runs off the end. Hmmmm

455 Pontiac maybe? Hard to tell but going off that side view of the block that is my guess.
