Nothing I find really that interesting about this photo. Perhaps a nice contrasty B&W would better suit this? I'm not sure. 7/10

A very earnest, almost frightened, expression, with nice lighting. Personally I don't find it to be the most complimentary portrait but if the young lady was a performer involved in any genre where she needs to convey emotion she might be very pleased to have this image in her portfolio. Or I could be misreading the shot completely... 5/10 or 8/10 depending on the intent of the shot.

The composition is not there for me, I find there is no subject and the colors are dull. 4/10

The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subject to change the photographer.

Sorry . . .

Over-saturated color; blown out highlights; soft, "melted" look (probably due to trying to reduce noise) and a busy, distracting background. Ugly brown object in lower right corner should be removed. Explore composition using the rule of thirds and you'll have better results.

Overall rating? 3.5

OLD SCHOOL . . .

I would give the butterfly flower pic above at least an 8.5. not really a good rule of thirds example, but still works for me.

7/10 for the old school camera above. Seems to be good focus and white balance, but for some reason I feel like the perspective could have been changed to make the camera look more cool/flattering. Maybe it's the dust..i dunno

I think the reflection on the glass is busy and distracting also. I think a macro shot of the dials or the letters around the lens would have worked better for me.

The subject, the airplane, is a small part of the overall picture. The pole and its bolts don't do anything for me. It looks like you were trying to frame the airplane, but the pole and bottom are completely flat which isn't an interesting frame to me. Too much black at the bottom.

It's a toss up between lots of sky and too much foreground. I would have loved the focus on the crashing wave. I'll give it a 7/100.

6/10. I like the "glow" of the cross and church. I also like the change in blues, but there is a little too much empty space in the picture for my tastes. Moon is too small.

Can't really fault this image. I think it could deal with some more contrast :) 8/10

Reaally love the perspective of this one, that's a Sh** load of lights though where is this? 8/10 I think black and white with a higher contrast would make that photo "POP" even more! love it

Hmm, something about the perspective makes this look unbalanced to me. The girl on the left looks like she has a somewhat disproportionately larger size head, while the girl on the right looks like she has a somewhat disproportionately smaller sized head. Not a fan of the pose/hand positions. Girl on the right looks like she's trying to be macho and puff her chest out. Girl on left's back is bent kinda in an unnatural angle. I think the skin tones are nice, but I think the highlights and background are blown out a little bit. Quite sharp, but the highlights make it look a little softer possibly. 5/10
