jay, nice work on the 'stang. Fascinating planes to view.
vmlopes, nice exposure on The Kneeling Stool. Very rich. Nice seeing the reds/browns in the room to stay with the greens from the window, without just white-balancing one or the other and ruining something.
blownco, nice timing! May be a burst, but that action unfolds very quickly. That tire is about to unfold too.

Thanks, and agree that dragster looks like the rear wheels are just winding up so good capture blownco

Just in case anyone has been looking, I've found a supplier on eBay that sells the end caps to LP-E4 batteries for $3.99. Not bad considering you get 3 of them.

They are from Hong Kong, so they will probably take a little while to show up.

I'd say so, you've probably got the timing figured out well enough to be behind the wheel!

Ok, I'm joining the club. Bought a 1D MkIII off fellow POTN member Duff. I went back and forth on buying one several months ago and ended up going with the 7D instead. I've not been very impressed with the 7D so decided to see what the 1DIII will do for me. Main use will be equine sports and it will probably be permanently attached to the 70-200 2.8 IS II.

I own a 7D and want to upgrade. Lemme know how you enjoy the 1D and lemme know if it'd be worth it for me to switch too :)
